City Youth now is a non profit organization that provides programs and resources to youth in San Francisco's juvenile justice and foster care systems. For this fundraiser, we would be raising money for one of the programs we offer, which is the Personal Empowerment Program. This program supports the holistic development of our youth by supporting and funding their unique needs. Some of these include extra curricular activities such as art, music, or sports, emergency clothing and food, and certain medical/dental needs. These requests are referral based, so the youth's social worker, case manager, probation officer, or any other youth advocate, request these items on behalf of the youth.
